Mort Downey

Mort Downey has more than 50 years of federal, state, and local distinguished public service, including eight years as the US Deputy Secretary of Transportation. Mort led President Obama’s Transition Team for USDOT and served as senior advisor to Secretary LaHood during the Senate confirmation process. He was named in 2010 as the first Federal Government appointee to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Board. He is a senior advisor to Parsons Brinckerhoff, providing advisory services on federal legislation, policy development, infrastructure finance, and transportation market trends.
